Bay Ridge, get ready. The Merchants of Third Avenue Civic Improvement Association, Inc. is bringing back one of the neighborhood's most beloved traditions — and this year, they're turning up the heat.
Pizza Wars 2026 is a square slice battle. That's right — no round pies, no regular slices. This year's competition is all about the square, and the stakes have never been higher.
Here's how it works: On Sunday, May 3rd, starting at noon, you'll walk and tour Bay Ridge while eating and voting for your favorite square slice from participating merchants. Supporting local businesses has never tasted this good.
But there's a twist.
Come dressed in your best Saturday Night Fever looks — think polyester, platforms, and all the disco-era glamour Bay Ridge can handle. Because if you're going to eat your way through Brooklyn's best neighborhood, you might as well look fabulous doing it.
